Transport Officer Safety & Training

Transport Officers operate under strict guidelines as outlined in the Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon Revised Statues.

As part of the curriculum, all personnel are required to be fingerprinted and pass extensive driving and criminal background checks performed by the F.B.I., Oregon State Police, and other regulating agencies.

We are proud to keep a drug free workplace. Transport Officers are required to be randomly screened for illegal drugs on a regular basis.

The initial training process is lengthy and is followed by continual education throughout the year. Transport Officers are kept current with Emergency First Aid & CPR, Managing combative and aggressive behavior, Crisis Intervention, Appropriate Use of Force, Defensive driving, and Secure escort procedures.

All vehicles have been inspected and approved by the State of Oregon in accordance with OAR 309-033-0435,
